Beth-Anne Kanecke, M.S., CCC-SLP

Beth-Anne Kanecke brings over a decade of experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders in children and adults to SkillBuilders Speech Therapy. She received her undergraduate degree in linguistics from the University of Southern Maine. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the competitive Communication Sciences program at Hunter College and is also a recipient of the ASHA ACE award for continuing education studies. Beth-Anne’s experience as a speech-language pathologist includes both public and private schools in Manhattan and Brooklyn, as well as community health clinics, including Coney Island Hospital, and most recently in private practice. She also includes orofacial myofunctional therapy in her scope of practice after successfully completing advanced and specialized training from the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM).

 

Beth-Anne is a compassionate and analytically-minded speech-language pathologist who dedicates time to building relationships with her clients to create a space for growth, education, and open communication. She prioritizes individualized treatment to ensure she is providing her families with the best solutions, tools, and resources they need to succeed. She is passionate about being a dependable resource and helping families understand the presenting disorder.

When Beth-Anne is not supporting the many families and clients she works with, you will find her spending time with family, and exploring Maine's beauty.
